Members who are 70 years young or older and have a handicap of 20 or more, without the slope, they can now play in all competitions and roll ups from the BLUE tees with their handicaps. In federated competitions they play off the blue slope and qualify for the normal prizes.
Once they have decided to play from the blue tees they cannot revert back . The only exception to this is if their handicap comes below 20 with the slope.
Members and organisers are reminded that there should be no gimmies in stroke play, stableford, or team events or Casual rounds within The Celts tee times. This is to stop the practice of members who are used to playing with Gimmies, expecting to be given them in competitions.
Gimmies are only allowed in matchplay.
