The Celts Club de Golf
Membership fees should be paid into Celts Club de Golf bank account giving your name as a reference. The fee remains the same at €120. You can do this through your bank or by online banking to our account. You can get the Club details on your members’ dashboard on this site under 2025 subscriptions.
Those who have not paid their membership fee by the due date of October 1st , will cease to be members of The Celts Club de Golf and will no longer be able to avail of online booking. This also applies to those that have not paid their federation fee, as all Celts members are obliged to be federated.
Celts membership fees are due on 1st October each year and should be paid before 30th. September each year.
La Serena
The membership fee for La Serena Golf from January 1st. 2026 is €1500 per single member. This is for 12months until December 31st. 2026 . A married couple/ civil partners making their payment together is €2600 for the year. These fees are fixed for three years.
There is a credit of €200 per member which is funded jointly by La Serena and The CELTS Club de Golf which can be used in the shop or the Restaurant at La Serena when ordering a meal from the main menu.
In each case members pay €3 each time they play the course.
Overseas Membership
The overseas membership fee will coincide yearly with the general Celts membership. Overseas members are defined as members not normally resident in Spain and are not members of La Serena. Overseas members are entitled to book for all competitions on our website and pay a reduced green fee of €40 ( effective from January 1st. 2025) when playing at La Serena. All Overseas members, on renewing, must now be federated in Spain.
Celts Membership entitlements
Members will be entitled to free entry into all Club Championship, Medal, Crystal and Golf Prizes events. The Captain’s Prize and Dinner and The President’s Prize and Dinner, also our La Serena Charity Day event and lunch. Only paid up members can book for the above events. Subsequently, the only fee payable is the agreed fee of €3 every time you play to La Serena Golf Club. The Hamper is now the only competition that you pay a subsidized entry fee of €25 for the competition and Dinner Dance at La Serena. Our yearly general meeting takes places at La Serena golf on the same day as the hamper which is on December 6th. 2025 this year. The meeting is followed by our Xmas Dinner and Dance at the club.
A drink and bap or some alternative refreshments will be issued to those taking part in the Club Championships, and will be paid for from The Celts Club de Golf Funds.
All Celts members playing at La Serena are entitled to reduced trolley and reduced buggy prices. Buggy prices are €24.
Election of Members
New members are nominated by an existing member and seconded by another existing member and elected by the Junta.
Existing members are re-elected, or not re -elected, on an annual basis by the Junta.
To win the Captain’s or President’s Prize, members must be paid up members for the previous 12 months.
