This post is to remind everyone of their responsibilities when booking tee times.
Booking for events can be done 2 weeks in advance. Booking for Special Events such as Club Championship, Captains Prize, Presidents Prize and Christmas Hamper can be done 28 days in advance. Sometimes due to heavy traffic, patience is needed to get booked, and it is better if you book once and leave the site. You will be booked.
You can now cancel any booking that you have made up to closing of booking for that event which is four days in advance. You do this from ” Your Current Bookings”. After booking closes only the organiser can do this for you. You must notify him/her by email but if within 48 hours of the event, you must notify him/her by phone call.
When you reserve a tee time, it is your responsibility to attend and to arrive before the designated time to assist the organiser. If you place your name on a waiting list, it is also your responsibility to regularly check the start sheet. By joining the waiting list, you are confirming that you are available to play should a space become available.
Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will not incur a penalty. However, cancellations within 48 hours of your tee time will result in a EUR5 fee. Failure to attend without cancelling (“no show”) will result in a EUR5 penalty for members, along with a two-week suspension from making bookings.
If you book visitors and they do not attend, you will be responsible for covering the cost of their places.
Please note that booking management is the responsibility of each member. Our website provides all the tools you need to check, manage, and cancel your bookings easily. We strongly encourage all members to review the rules and regulations available on the same site.
These guidelines are especially important when tee times are in high demand and players are on waiting lists. A no-show not only disrupts play but also prevents another member from taking that place.
Members should BOOK maximum of two tee times between Monday and Friday and once on either Saturday or Sunday. If vacancies are on the start sheet, when published, the member may play additional games for those days.
A member who overbooks may have all their bookings for that week deleted if seen to be continuously in breach of this rule.
Likewise members cannot book the same guests for any more than two days between Monday and Friday and once on Saturday and Sunday. Guests names overbooked will be deleted from bookings.
Thank you for your cooperation.
John
